| Civil / Structural Engineer Reference Number: 50366210 Location: Jubail, Saudi Arabia Industry Unit: Civil Department: Engineering Required Start Date: Immediate Living Status: Single SPECIFICATION: Accountability: -Review and comment on civil and structural design and drawing packages prepared by A/Es. -Coordinate and return review comments on submittals by the Industries for proposed port expansions as it relates to interface with Royal Commission roads and utilities. -Prepare civil and structural design calculations and drawings for the port. -Utilize computer and computer codes to perform analyses and designs. -Review proposed land allocation plans for new and port areas for compliance with Royal Commission Master Plan and availability of support utilities. -Provide support to Const. Dept. and disposition of field changes by issuing DCNs and SCNs. -Review of shop drawings and material submittals. -Review, update and prepare revisions to civil/structural Guideline Specifications, Manuals and Design Criteria. -Perform general civil engineering activities such as preparation of studies, reports and bid packages. -Review and coordination with others for engineering packages related to schools, clinics, etc. Key Technical Skills: -College Graduate with BS in Civil / Structural Engineering. -Substantial experience in the analysis and design of concrete and steel structures, port works, utilities and infrastructure and coordination of multi-discipline designs. -Ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team. -Minimum of two years experience in field construction and/or operation. -Sufficient knowledge of computers for analyses and design of structures. -Knowledge of port structures and methods of design. -Relevant university degree required | |
