| Field Civil Engineer Field Civil Engineer Reference Number: 50389627 Location: Jubail, Saudi Arabia Industry Unit: Civil Department: Construction Required Start Date: 27-Aug-2008 Living Status: Employee and Family SPECIFICATION: Accountability: Review contractor technical submittals. Review drawings and coordinate with discipline engineers where needed. Coordinate with Contract Supervisors to assure that the work is progressing in accordance with the approved schedules. Participate in the preparation of technical features of Field Change Requests and Change Orders. Supervise quantity take-offs. Monitor contractor inspection program and quality program, maintain project safety awareness and enforce company safety policy. Review contractors’ monthly invoices, shop drawings, O&M manuals and monitor as-builts. Prepare daily reports and weekly logs for each Contractor. Review and evaluate all construction material testing results. Key Technical Skills: College/University Degree in Civil Engineering with significant construction experience. Candidate must have experience in utilities infrastructure, site development, highways and bridges construction including earthwork, asphalt paving, construction traffic management, reinforced/pre-stressed concrete structures and as-built quantities tracking. Candidate should have basic knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel. | |
