Manager – Quality Assurance & Testing for Oman

VAM SYSTEMS is a Business Consulting, IT Solutions and Services company with operations in UAE, Qatar, Bahrain, USA, Australia, Singapore & India.
VAM SYSTEMS is currently looking for Manager – Quality Assurance & Testing for our Oman operations with the following skill set and terms and conditions:
Skill Set required:
Responsibilities:

1) Manages the activities associated with the definition and development of specifications as well as the programming and quality testing of technical modules, applications, prototypes and computer programs.
2) Manages one or more aspects of the systems development life cycle.
Determines user requirements, leads application design, plans projects, establishes priorities and monitors progress.
3) Evaluates project status and resource utilization and implements changes to improve the team's effectiveness. Ensures all projects are completed within time and budget and are integrated with other software applications.
4) Responsible for feasibility studies, time and cost estimates, and the establishment and implementation of new or revised applications systems and programs.
5) Manages staff involved in test planning, test requirement definition, test design, test script, test data development, test automation, test environment development and script configuration management as well as test execution.
6) Leads in the development and implementation of the overall strategic vision and integration of broad range ideas regarding business analysis, systems analysis, applications development, and/or quality assurance and testing capabilities.
7) Assists in the development and implementation of business analysis, systems analysis, applications development, and quality assurance and testing policies, standards, procedures and methodologies.

Skills:
a) Preferably an engineering or management graduate with sound Banking Products Knowledge.
b) Minimum 8 years of experience in the Information Technology with knowledge of core banking systems and process or experience in finance industry.
c) Minimum 4 years of experience in Quality management.
d) He should have hands on experience on Project Management, Systems Development, Implementation and Support of the systems and technologies mentioned below: -

o Proven expertise in Quality Assurance, CMM processes
o Proven expertise in software quality assurance.
o Proven expertise in Finacle Core-Banking Systems.
o Knowledge of allied banking systems such RTGS, ACH, ALM, AML etc.
o Banking Domain Knowledge.
o Knowledge of SDLC concepts, Banking processes and Business Process management.
o Test automation tools
o UNIX, Windows 2003 operating systems.
Domain : Banking
Experience Required : Minimum 8 yrs.
Terms and conditions:
Joining time frame : 2 weeks (Maximum 4 weeks)
The selected candidates shall join VAM SYSTEMS and shall be deputed to one of the leading banks in Oman.
