| Test Consultant for Oman VAM SYSTEMS is a Business Consulting, IT Solutions and Services company with operations in UAE, Qatar, Bahrain, USA, Australia, Singapore & India. VAM SYSTEMS is currently looking for Test Consultant for our Oman operations with the following skill set and terms and conditions: Skill Set required: Responsibilities: 1. Develop deliverables outlining testing strategies and approaches for integration, system and user acceptance testing efforts. 2. Support end-user testing activities as necessary, handle release management, issue tracking and provide status updates to monitor progress. 3. Responsible for creating training material and facilitating training for the Mercury Tools. 4. Perform test activities (test preparation, execution, and defect management) 5. Execution of test scenario, testing complex batch operations. 6. Understand requirements expressed in UI Specifications, Use Cases, Activity Diagrams and Task Diagrams 7. To do knowledge transfer to end-users to use system after deployment. 8. To comply with bank’s Information Security Policy during development of systems. 9. Constantly updating technical knowledge and skills by attending in-house and / or external courses, reading manuals and accessing new applications. 10. Preparation of project documents & maintaining quality records. Skills: 1. Preferably a bachelor’s degree in Computer science. 2. Minimum 4 years of experience in the software industry: o Proven expertise in Mercury Testing Tools, QTP8.0 with java and RTE adapters, Loadrunner 8.0, Quality Centre 8.0 o Knowledge in J2EE Technologies (Java / JSP / HTML / XML) o Knowledge in development of Web Services on Java platform o Knowledge in Visual Basic / ASP. o Knowledge in Oracle / MS SQL. o Knowledge in IBM suite of products like Websphere Application Server, MQ, MQ Broker & Process Server. 3. Excellent knowledge of UML fundamentals and OO approach to software development. 4. Knowledge of Messaging & Integration protocols, networking, OOAD, n-tier architecture & SOA. 5. Knowledge of SDLC concepts and CMM processes. Domain : Banking Experience Required : Minimum 4 yrs. Terms and conditions: Joining time frame : 2 weeks (Maximum 4 weeks) The selected candidates shall join VAM SYSTEMS and shall be deputed to one of the leading banks in Oman. | |
