VAM SYSTEMS is currently looking for Senior Developer - Business Objects & Oracle Pl/SQL for our Oman operations with the following skill set and terms and conditions:
Skill Set required:
Responsibilities:

1) Development of in-house Reporting & BI projects.
2) Development of Data Integration, Data Mart & Data Warehousing Project.
3) Handling of new projects as assigned by the Reporting Manager, from time to time.
4) Research new technologies for adoption in the bank.
5) Participate in development of business requirements for MIS & Analytical Reporting.
6) Administration & Maintenance of Database Servers for backup site.
7) To identify opportunities and recommend processes for improving business
operational efficiency & quality through automation.
8) To manage the testing, user acceptance and implementation of new reports and
products and ensure that users are properly trained on them.
9) Focusing Technical issues.
10) Prepares project documents & maintaining quality records.
11) To participate in business continuity in the event of disaster.
12) Manage software versions and documentation for in-house developed systems for
reporting & BI.
13) To comply with bank’s Information Security Policy during development of systems.
14) Maintain SDLC standards for the bank and the reporting team.

Skills:
1. Preferably an engineering graduate.
2. Minimum 4 years of experience in the software industry and should have hands on
experience on MIS & Reporting Projects, Implementation and Support of the systems
and technologies mentioned below:

o Proven Expertise in Business Objects XI R2 and Crystal Reports
o Sound knowledge in reports security & distribution in Business Objects
o Knowledge of Performance Manager & Dashboard Manager in BOXI R2
o Knowledge of SDK programming in Business Objects
o Sound knowledge on Oracle 9i,10g SQL , PL/SQL , DBA
o Knowledge of Data Warehousing & Business Intelligence.
o Knowledge of Database Design & Data Modeling.
o Knowledge of ETL Tools.
a. Banking Domain Knowledge & knowledge in Finacle core banking will be an added advantage.
o Knowledge of SDLC concepts, Banking processes and Business Process
Management.
o HP UNIX, Windows 2003 operating system
Domain : Banking
Experience Required : Minimum 4 yrs.
Terms and conditions:
Joining time frame : 2 weeks (Maximum 4 weeks)
The selected candidates shall join VAM SYSTEMS and shall be deputed to one of the leading banks in Oman.
