| Automotive QA/QC QA/QC Inspector needed Interest Category : Operations/ Maintenance External Job Title : QA/QC Inspector - Automotive (MEF Maint) Position Type : Full-time Country : Iraq State : Iraq Province City : Various Locations Minimum Requirements : The Quality Control Inspector is one of the major keys to the maintenance operations success. He is responsible for the equipment inspection to ensure that all supported/assigned equipment meets or exceeds the standard set in -10 and -20 series TM’s, PMCS and Safety items. The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of five years general experience with a minimum of three years specific experience in automotive maintenance operations, supervision, inspection, QA or related areas. A high school diploma or GED is required and two plus years of college or technical school is highly desirable. Experience may be substituted for education at the rate of one year of specific experience for one year of high school or college. Candidate must be proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word and Power Point. Job Description : • Performs initial inspection IAW TM applicable for inspected item. • Identifies all equipment faults (deficiencies/short comings) and records on the maintenance work sheet (2404/5988) with all required repair parts will be listed on the maintenance request (2404/5988/2407). • May be required to diagnose and troubleshoot as needed to support complex maintenance actions. • Components of end items (COEI) will also be inspected (i.e. rigging equipment, snatch blocks, spare tires, loading ramps, chock blocks, and canvas covers). • Component repairs and engine powered equipment such as contained in or upon major end items will also be inspected during initial inspection. • Perform in progress and final inspection of maintenance performed to ensure all quality standards have been met. • Prepare LSI QA-1-1 (Quality Assurance Form) and obtain customer signature of acceptance. • Inspect for proper use of tools, incorrect repair and adjustment procedures, and the proper use of publications. • Inspect after repair to ensure all repairs have been performed to required standard and maintenance is complete before equipment is issued to customer (owning unit). • Final inspection performed on all supported or organizational equipment will use 10/20 series PMCS criteria and safety standards in AR 385-55. • Interface daily with the Site Supervisor to keep higher-level management personnel informed of all mission-related requirements/progress and to receive directives as needed. • Contact Maintenance Supervisor to pick up completed/accepted job orders. • Direct the turn-in of recoverable items by each section to the Shop/BMO • Office Turn-In POC within 72 hours of job completion. • Reporting quality data or problems to QA chief weekly on a given report format. | |
