| QA/QC Analyst Responsibilities • Create a streamlined Quality process involving lean management, SPC, Poka Yoke, Shop floor and on site Kanbans and continuous improvements. • Improve productivity and reduce constraints. • Identify system breaks and productivity constraints in human and non human factors. • Educate the production staff, operations staff and site installers about Quality initiatives. • Provide input to the Manager on projects from direct involvement and from input provided from advisors. • Advise Project Manager and Operations Management in QC implementation and execution and in evaluating Project Teams on their QC execution. • Advise Project Manager and Operations Management on overall trends in the construction industry that may affect the company’s QC program or the quality of a specific project or installation. • Participate in continuous education for QC and Operations staff. • Visit projects regularly to evaluate QC procedures and assist in evaluating overall project status. • Provide regular performance evaluations and development checklists including career path guidance for direct reports. • Review close out processes to confirm all quality issues have been inspected and resolved. • Assist in guiding and educating QC advisors and on-site representatives. • Assist in developing the project QC plan. • Assist in project team orientation program including developing, researching, and presenting applications and information. • Assist in resolving technical compliance issues and communicate with designers, project managers, production staff and optimization staff • Assist in coordinating and monitoring final inspections before ship out to sites from production floors. • Lead and assist in performance of systems check coordination and systems check inspection meeting including, but not limited to, reviewing contractor inspections and witnessing demonstration of system operation. • Assist with pre-final completion check including verifying all is in accordance with the Policies and Procedures manual. • Assist in Alutec final inspection and owner/designer/agency completion check. • Prepare QA/QC reports on a weekly, monthly, half yearly and yearly basis. • Prepare QA/QC reports for production staff and team leaders on a weekly, monthly, half yearly and yearly basis. | |
