| General Manager - Construction Responsible for the overall performance, profitability & growth of the company. Responsible for the overall management of construction projects. Oversees multiple projects at one time with the aid of Resident Construction Managers, Ensures construction projects are completed on time and to the client's satisfaction. staffing, outlining project plans, setting project goals/deadlines, and evaluating performance review progress and provide guidance to Site Construction Manager. Resolves construction related issues that can not be resolved by Site Construction Manager and/or makes recommendations to supervisor as to how to resolve major issues. Negotiate contracts with construction materials suppliers and contractors. Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws such as supervision and training of reporting staff. Required Qualifications: Civil Engineering or Architecture Graduate MBA is preferred. Required Skills: 8 years minimum work experience Must have experienced working knowledge of the construction business. Good knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems and general civil construction and heavy equipment erection techniques. Proficient in Arabic & English Good Communication Skills Strong computer skills, particularly spreadsheet and project tracking software. Knowledge of budget and schedule development and tracking. | |
