| Assistant Project Manager & Project Manager Region : Middle East Location : Sharjah Industry : Building Design Degree Discipline (Graduates only) Discipline Architects, Engineers - Civil, Construction Management, Architects, Cost Management Job Summary My client is looking for an Assistant Project Manager and a Project Manager with previous experience in managing Architecture projects to join their office in Sharjah As a provider of multi-disciplined technical services to the built environment, my client is committed to design excellence in the delivery of first class solutions which combine, innovation, imagination and best practice. Requirements • Degree qualification with Professional Membership of reputable Institution • Minimum of 5 years experience in Architecture Project Management with proven ability to effectively manage multi-disciplinary project teams and projects with significant commercial awareness, acumen and experience • Able to solve problems by thinking laterally and able to understand the needs and requirements that arise when providing solutions in a developing country to a high degree of integrity and standard • Experience in liaising with consultants and contractors • Resource planning, cash flow forecasting and project control • Must be familiar with design, tender and construction procedures • Ability to utilise Microsoft Office suite of products • The right candidate must be Western educated. Responsibilities • Assisting with the overall management of the project • Preparation of the project brief and project quality plan • Establish project scope and objectives • Preparation of progress reports • Assisting in overseeing the tender and contract award • Preparation and maintenance of the project programme with the Project Planner • Organise and implement presentation of designs to the Client • Preparation and maintenance of programme for design review and ensuring it’s implementation • Identify and manage project specific risks • Set out / agree design standards and parameters • Monitoring quality of the work • Preparation of design changes • Appointment and management of all required sub-consultants or other services • Technical co-ordination with discipline heads Salary & Benefits • A competitive salary will be offered to the right candidate • Accommodation allowance • Transportation allowance • 30 calendar days annual leave • Medical and life insurance cover • Company gratuity scheme • Discretionary bonus scheme • Annual return airfare to point of origin If you are interested please apply via e mail attaching portfolio, salary expectations and availability. | |
