| Support Analyst Position Summary Serves as a resource to record and research client problems, and taking the steps required to solve these problems in a timely and efficient manner. Manages client relations by providing technical support and customer service. Will have direct contact with the client's technical staff and warehouse personnel. Specific expertise resides in application of problem solving techniques. Responsibilities • Provide customer support and working with the Operational team • Take incoming calls from clients and record basic details of the callers requirements. • Manages client relations by providing technical support and customer service. • Recording and updating the details of case in the SNS Customer Support system. • Performing preliminary analysis of issues and resolve if possible. • Develop permanent fixes for the issues raised. • Provide Software Development estimates for client requested modifications or software fixes. • Develop custom specifications and modifications for clients. • Assist with testing of fixes before sending to clients. • Installing fixes onto client systems and working with clients to test and promote fixes into Production systems. • Develop positive working relationships with clients and internal support resources. • Assist in transition of client over to Customer Support from Project Implementation teams. • Recognize potential customizations and operational development for client's current business operations. • Account for appropriate and accurate time entry. Requirements • Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Engineering, MIS or related field. • Minimum of one year of Programming experience with Power Builder, Java, C++, .Net and SQL (Oracle or SQL Server) in a UNIX or Windows environment. • Knowledge of UNIX or Windows operating systems. • Experience in software solutions and life cycle. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Must be able to communicate effectively in English. • Ability to travel up to 25% yearly. • Possess the ability to work alone and in team/cooperative development efforts. • Supply Chain Systems (WMS, TMS) knowledge is a big plus. • Good personality and a team player. • Willingness to work overtime. | |
