| System Administrator BRIEF JOB DESCRIPTION: * Manage Linux servers, applications servers, mail, LDAP and database servers. * Develop and implement backup strategy. * Network management: Traffic shaping, Firewall configuration, antivirus and voice over IP. * Software/hardware installation and maintenance. * Recommend, schedule and perform software/hardware improvements, upgrade and/or purchases. Computer Skills: * System and network administration certification * Strong knowledge of Linux, LAN, TCP/IP, DHCP/DNS/WINS, HTTP/Webservers and network management. * Experience in designing and setting up Firewall security and corporate antivirus * Experience with database management MS, SQL server and DB2. * Application servers: Tomcat, WebSphere (Experience with Websphere portlet server is a plus) * Hands-on software and hardware troubleshooting experience Other Skills: * Strong interpersonal and communication skills. | |
