Brand Manager

The Role
Jointly responsible for planning and maximising the sales and profit contribution of the brand. Directly accountable for achieving margin targets through timely management of OTB (Open To Buy), stock allocation and replenishment, terminal stock management and retail price architecture. Accountable for building and developing a professional relationship and best working practices with the host brand.
Jointly responsible for developing marketing initiatives and ensuring the brand is appropriately represented and portrayed in the Middle East market.

Responsibilities
• Builds annual business plan to reflect brand positioning.
• Negotiates key aspects of the planned delivery with the Host brand.
• Maximises turnover by ensuring accurate, timely and commercial sales planning and reforecasting, covering both like-for-like and new stores.
• Produces sales and margin plans and forecasts 'by store by week'
• Ensures the brand delivers the business plan profit through delivery of both volume and cash margin.
• Plans(including Open to Buy), ordering, allocation and subsequent replenishment based on receipt and distribution of merchandise, building stock for peak trading periods, and mitigating terminal stock.
• Plans and implements an events calendar for positive brand building through promotional activities, which maintain brand integrity and values.
• Acts as prime Al-Sawani interface with host brand for all activities.
• Provides support and on the job training to all team members.
• Regularly visits all markets in person, and ensures team members subsequently visit for follow-up, monitoring and communication purposes.

Skills & Experience
• 2 - 3 years experience in a senior retail role
• Experience to include direct responsibility of merchandising, operations and marketing
• High school education as a minimum, degree level preferred.
• Must have knowledge base of higher-level retail, franchise arrangements, merchandising tools and practices and marketing techniques.
