| Education Specialist Job Purpose: The Connect ROTAsia Educational Specialist is responsible for developing, delivering, implementing, monitoring and evaluating training programs and educational projects, with an online focus, for the Connect ROTAsia program. The Connect ROTAsia Educational Specialist is responsible for assisting the Head of Connect ROTAsia with developing, implementing and evaluating program components and also performs related work as required to ensure the success of the program. The Connect ROTAsia Educational Specialist assists other ROTA program areas to build and support educational capacity building of local communities in Qatar and in ROTA focal countries. Key Result Areas: - To develop, implement, monitor and evaluate training programs and workshops, applicable to professional development for educators and online collaborative projects, in a K-12 educational setting and involving higher education when applicable both in Qatar and other ROTA focal countries. - To develop, implement, monitor and evaluate educational projects and content for a K-12 educational setting and involving higher education when applicable both in Qatar and other ROTA focal countries. - To work in collaboration with other ROTA program departments to provide consultancy and to monitor and evaluate the programs as necessary both in Qatar and in other ROTA focal countries. - To promote capacity building through training programs and other methods as necessary in local communities within Qatar and ROTA focal countries. - To develop new program components, including researching, compiling and analyzing supporting data, and upon approval of the Connect ROTAsia Manager, implements program changes and/ or additions. | |
