| Mechanical Engineer Mechanical Engineer, Middle East,Qatar Job Description As the region’s leading provider of architectural and engineering design services to the built environment, our client is committed to design excellence in the delivery of first class solutions which combine, innovation, imagination and best practice To provide mechanical building services design engineering expertise on single and multi disciplinary projects. Requirements Essential * Degree qualified – minimum requirement of BEng * Minimum 5 years experience working in design of Building Services for Private, Government, Residential, Commercial, Industrial, Retail, Leisure and Hotel markets. * Experience of mechanical design software – Computer design package E-20, IES Design Suite, Hevacomp * Understanding of British, American and International design standards * Good level of computer literacy in Windows and other Microsoft products * Excellent communication skills in written and spoken English * Good report writing skills, experience of making presentations to and attending meetings with clients is essential Desirable * IEng or CEng qualification * Understanding of Electrical Engineering principles * An understanding of AutoCAD Responsibilities * Mechanical building services engineering design, from concept design through to construction issue and site supervision * Carrying out design calculations on a variety of buildings i.e. residential, commercial, educational, leisure facilities, industrial etc * Design according to local utilities rules, regulations and design guides * Design to British, American and International design standards * Preparing technical specifications * Preparing drawings for drafting by in-house CAD team * Instruct CAD operators in all project related matters and responsible for the checking of all CAD works done * Coordinate with Architects, Structural Engineers and Electrical Engineers and any other external design consultant * To understand and implement our clients ME Quality Assurance procedures * Site surveys and inspections Salary & Benefits * A competitive salary for the right candidate * Accommodation allowance * Transportation allowance * 30 calendar days annual leave * Medical and life insurance cover * Company gratuity scheme * Discretionary bonus scheme * Annual return airfare to point of origin Contact Please contact Melanie or Madeleine on 0131 555 4001for more information.
